Staunton's Clock Tower
Since my photostream is sort of in "clock tower mode" right now, I'll wrap up that series with this close-up of the much-photographed landmark in downtown Staunton, Virginia. Information in Sergei Troubetzkoy's book Staunton indicates that the building housing the clock tower was completed in 1889 and housed the YMCA for many years. The tower itself was remodeled around 1930.
