A model for practice-based blended flipped courses

Reading the diagram: Roughly the icons in the top row represent f-2-f (could be a webinar / synchronous session, not just physically in the same spot). The second row represents student activity / project focus / application / assessment / reflection. The green arrows represent how a concept / provocation might be worked on by students before moving into a facilitated session to unpack findings further. The purple arrows indicate how these understandings would feed into the next step of each student's project / thinking / activities / assessment etc. Repeat until key concepts / skills within a module are explored by learners, and applied to their own context / project. In this approach, the ePortfolio plays a significant part in capturing the development of the student's learning, and then acts as a place to showcase the skills, findings, etc from each course.
