Fold Formed Copper Ring Front

my first attempt at torch soldering. the join on the left side of the ring and barely visible, but there are two spots of excess solder that i have been unable to sand away. i finally just decided to keep this one for myself as a reminder to use less solder!!

 

i must say that i am surprised at how pretty this cleaned up. it was a practice fold formed piece that i thought to use for practicing soldering. i am going to use it as a pendant and showcase a pretty stone in the middle.
