Snapped line!
A Scilly mistake: this was a wee while back when i was new to KAP, but the mistakes are always worth a revisit and a post! Basically, i didnt realise a) how much pull a Flowform 4 could have, and b) that the wind would be much stronger when the kite got above the protection of the Islands.
After a bit of a struggle and panic about how the hell i was going to get it down, the line snapped and the kite disappeared over one of the Islands. (Scilly Isles, UK) The GoPro took 6 photos after its break for freedom, (so thats 30 seconds free-flight) and was picked up by a friendly fisherman close to the shore on the other side of the island! GoPro unharmed.
