Sexy 3/4 frontal view
This is what my wife says I call my baby. I asked to be buried in it in my will. Just how many years I waited for exactly THIS truck? Most of my life time.
I call the truck Mortus- notice it is all white-ed out except the crome bumper and bug deflector. Mortus is the name of the pale horse in Revelation ch 11. With a racing team called: 4 Horsemen based on said chapter I guess it should be self explanatory. (Matching race trailer is in back ground)
ok- about the truck. the techy stuff. 7.3 ltr turbo diesel. dually, 4x4 (or should that be 6x6?), quad cab, power EVERYTHING, premium sound, hidden 5th wheel, class 5 hitch, spray on LINEX bed liner, ambulance package (ups gross load), custom grill, onboard air and electric outlets. Oversized dual tranny coolers, dual battery system
work done: plactic parts; deflectors and window guards, 5th hitch, onboard air and electric, block heater, heated mirror upgrade, brake controller, tool boxes, custom tie down rails, 3000 Watt power invertor
repairs to date: given i've put 200K++ so far- not too bad. starter, alternator, 1 battery, tires, front rotors and pads, water pump (mysterious hole in housing not the normal reasons), recoat bed liner. and of course the Cam Position Sensor.
Just installed but not in the photo: headache rack/plumbers rack that turns into a quater cap. really slick and only looks like a work truck when i need it to work. i'll need a picture to fully explain. well when i get around to it.
coming soon: LED replacement "Mortus" logos to replace 'FORD' on nose and tail. Dump bed (i designed it ), in bed flush mount tool boxes (designed those too) 1/4 Cap for gear, Hydraulic wench for bed and/or grill (removable), A pillar gauge pod with boost, exhaust temp and tanny temp gauges, dual tanks, and if i win the lotto- the BIG banks package. :D
