Attingham Park
The imposing main entrance to Attingham Park, a National Trust property near the village of Atcham which was formerly the seat of the Hill family, Barons Berwick. The late 18th century house and surrounding 650 acre estate were gifted to the National Trust by Lady Berwick, the widow of the 8th and last baron, in 1947. The arch bears the motto of the family, 'Qui uti scit, eibona' ('Let wealth be his who knows its use').
