Welcoming the New Year
The Honourable Judith Guichon, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, gives her annual speech at the New Year's Day levee at Government House in Victoria. For this special event, the public is welcomed into this amazing building, treated to tea, punch, and tasty goodies, as well as an impressive pipe band. This year Canada's 150th birthday was noted, and a video message from the Queen was played.
