Over Yonder

Japanese totems atop Burnaby mountain point towards Coal Harbour in Burrard Inlet. In the background are the ski hills of Grouse Mountain.

 

These wood sculptures are part of a set entitled Kamui Mintara (Playground of the Gods) which were created to commemorate the relationship between Burnaby and its sister city of Kushiro, Japan.
