Grindley Peerless (1929) II

This motorcycle was used on the Brooklands Outer Circuit by E.J. 'Boy' Tubb until the closure of the Track in 1939. With it he won his 'Gold Star' with a race lap of 102mph. One of only six models made, it is exactly as it finished its last Brooklands race, apart from a modification to the gear change linkage and a new Brooklands Silencer, made by the owner, who purchased the bike in 1935. Loaned by Mr. E.J. Tubb.
