Crater

The Kerid crater in Iceland's Golden Circle is thought to have been formed by a volcano that collapsed. The color of the water is created by the mineral content and the water level is that of the surrounding water table. So rain water won't change the level of it. The people at the lower left and upper back give a hint of the scale.
