Scammell S26
The very essence of a "wagon and drag" drawbar trailer* operation. One of Cuprinol Ltd's fleet of Scammell S26s by, err ..... some trees (could be Longleat, could be Finland!), picture taken in 1984 - I did not take any of the images submitted to Flickr of this fleet, I merely rescued them from being chucked out when the in-house distribution operation was shut down and the fleet sold off. *I cannot fathom why the Flickr group DRAWBARS OF EUROPE rejected these Cuprinol images I tried to add to the group, I'm sure they are, as their own group definition has it, "All types of truck & trailer combinations from Europe". I am particularly annoyed by this slight as at this time (80s) this form of distribution in the UK was pretty ground breaking and worthy of acknowledging.
