Scammell S26
In the mid 80s in an effort to improve the longevity of the Leyland T45 cabs on their fleet of Scammell S26s, wood preserver manufacturer Cuprinol encouraged their drivers to wash the vehicles with Red Cedar Preserver (see can bottom left of picture), I have no conclusive evidence as to whether this treatment was successful* as sadly the fleet was sold off and mostly exported in the early 90s. A Leyland Bison can be seen in the background. *Joking of course.
