Pika

On the 23rd of June I went to Kananaskis with a friend. It was great to have company for the day.

 

We had hoped to see a bear or two. That did not happen but we enjoyed the scenery, the wild flowers and any other critters we came across.

 

The pikas are just so cute! I was happy to see one fairly quickly. There are times when you have great difficulty finding them in the rocks. Lucky for us there was still a large patch of snow where they normally scramble about. This one was much closer to the path!
