Am. White Pelicans & Franklin's Gulls

I traveled to Carburn Park to lead a Nature Calgary group this evening. We saw 33 species. I did not get many photos but was happy to get a few snaps of some of the 40 pelicans seen along the river.

 

I was also thrilled to see a beaver swimming parallel to us and then climb up on the bank.
