Logitech Clearchat Comfort USB headset mini review
Comfort: This headset is pretty comfortable. The ear piece pivots a bit to fit most ear types. This will not cover the whole ear and if you have big ears, this will only cover portion of your ear. This is comfortable for short term wear but anytime over 1 hour my ears start to feel uncomfortable. It might help if you stretch it out before using. Also, it was uncomfortable wearing this and glasses.
Music quality: I am no audiophile by any means and I don't have golden ears. But this is not meant to be used to enjoy high quality music or movies. The quality is decent just to "listen" but I would recommend to use something else such as Creative Aurvana X-fi to really enjoy your music. Again, this is only a $25 (Amazon.com with rebate) headset and for what it is worth, it is not bad.
VOIP/Podcast quality: This headset is great in this department. The call via Skype is crystal clear and sounds better than land line (1Mbps upstream). If you plan to use this to record your own podcast, you can't go wrong. This proves to be one of the most economical headset to record a podcast or make a VOIP call.
Construction: The construction is pretty sturdy. It is unlikely to break under any normal daily usage. The ear padding is soft and smooth, same as the headband.
I hate the hook but I can't find a better looking one. Maybe I will paint it....
Let me know if you have any question about this headset.
