Book of the Courtier final
The Book of the Courtier, made over in Illustrator.
I chose brown and parchment for the background colors because I thought they gave the book a feel of warmth and richness that the original didn't have. The picture is a portrait of the author which was painted in his lifetime; it's a little low-res because this was the best version I could get for free. The front and spine contain all the information that was on the original cover, but I edited the back matter and added blurbs about the translator and art editor, which I took from inside the book.
