Zeiss 50mm 1.4 ZE focus shift test #1

I photographed a scale that was printed on the underside of 1/4 plastic. Should have found something printed on the top. Also I did not use the camera's focus confirmation. Focusing at the 10" mark I ran thru the f-stops without moving anything (hopefully) the aperture is set by the camera not an aperture ring on the lens.
@ near min focus distance of 1.5' Aperture priority Canon 5D
First impression- there is a slight front focus at F1.4. I will retest using the cameras focus confirmation. I was happy to see that there was not a serious focus shift though I did expect more in front of the focus point. I also noticed that in all three sets the exposure level was slightly less at F1.4. All other exposures appeared the same. This is strange.
