Built by Brush Electrical Engineering Co, Loughborough and entering service on 1st December 1960 as Class 30 No D5674 she was rebuilt as a Class 31 in November 1967 and also carried the numbers 31246, and 31555 before been withdrawn in July 1999, she was scrapped by EWS at Wigan in February 2000.
