29th July 2010.

West Midlands Travel Limited Volvo B7TL (YV3S2C617XC000043) / Plaxton President (6627) H45/29F 4056 - V56MOA.

New to West Midlands Travel Limited November 1999.

Paradise Circus, Birmingham, West Midlands.

Wearing the original style National Express bus division corporate livery with interim period 'West Midlands Part of National Express' fleetname and 'WM' logo's 4056 is seen leaving Birmingham on a service 24 working.

These Plaxton bodied Volvo's were the first low floor double deck vehicles to be ordered in a large quantity. However, as no further orders for this combination were made it is assumed that they were not liked a great deal with orders switching to the Alexander ALX400 bodied version. Late 2009 / early 2010 saw these vehicles be refurbished including new destination equipment and interior seat covers. Some vehicles such as 4056 also received new front headlight and indicator units and all vehicles received the latest type of CCTV.
