On November 13-15, in just 54 hours, you will experience the highs, lows, fun, and pressure that make up life at a startup. As you learn how to create a real company, you'll meet the very best mentors, investors, co-founders, and sponsors who are ready to help you get started.
It’s that simple. Startup Weekend is designed to get you going, FAST. It's a hackathon meets business plan competition and this time you'll be a part of Global Startup Battlefield. So not only will you be competing with the teams at your event, but also against the over 300+ events happening around the world!
Many ideas built during Startup Weekend have gone on to become real companies, raise funding, and have really successful Kickstarter campaigns. Startup Weekend is a great opportunity to learn a new skill, meet great people, and even build a real company!

For this event, Boomtown (An accelerator here in Boulder) has agreed to let hardware teams work out of their really awesome and brand new IOT lab. So if you are in, want to be, or interested in being in the hardware space, we have a place for you to build your idea!
