Young Swan in Trouble
Out taking pictures of the adult swans and the sibling the one in this picture had fishing line and maybe some kind of lure on his beak. The poor thing I did call Rapture Trust they said they would be more than happy to take the swan and try to help it if we could catch it and bring it too them. We called animal control and only got an answering machine :(
I am going to make a few call today to see if we can get some HELP saving this poor swan.
PLEASE if you fish and break your line if at all possible gather it up and take it home and cut it in tiny pieces and then throw it out !!!!! My friend Mary Ann and I go almost every day and pick up broken line some with some major lures or hooks attached I have another picture not a pretty one and if I can find it a picture is better than a thousand words.
