Wanna Be My Friend?
I found this poor little girl from a marginalized community in a remote part of West Bengal state of India. She came along with her elder sister to the school where my friends from Himalayan Medical Camp were distributing woollen sweaters to the students. I spotted her as she was waiting for her sister in the school compound on a sunny winter afternoon. She was playing with herself in her own world almost ignoring others. She was so cute, so expressive that I could not resist myself - just clicking her every mood, every posture from a distance without disturbing her. It gave me immense pleasure - an experience, almost divine!
