Lurking in the Web

A spider sits in its web, waiting...

 

I'm really happy how well this turned out, with the spider popping into view and the background vegetation ever so slightly blurred out.

 

This group of spider pictures were taken in the small town of Odawara (小田原), along the coast in Kanagawa Prefecture.
