Mitsumine Shrine

Mitsumine Shrine (三峰神社) which sits at the top of a mountain in Chichibu, Japan, is unique for being guarded not by the typical foxes you see at shrines, but by wolves.

It's also over 2,100 years old, and is a long way to travel, but well worth it.

The day I went the mountain and shrine was covered in a layer of fog, making it seem that much more supernatural.

Taken with the Panasonic GX8 with the 12-35mm F2.8 lens.
