My daughter and I just had the most incredible play date! Kimmerle came Friday evening and left Sunday after lunch. Saturday morning we went to yard sales and found............OMG OMG OMG.....three vintage dolls, a metal trunk 10x10.75x19 full of doll clothes AND dolly treasures and another box CRAMMED exquisitely hand sewn doll outfits. At first I was reluctant to buy the mold covered dolls for the sellers price of ten dollars each knowing the hours of cleaning that they would require but I finally decided yes I would buy them and that is when she said I haven't even showed anyone these things as she brings out the trunk and box. She said look through them and see what you want. As Kimmerle and I looked with total disbelief as treasure after treasure after treasure was revealed. The seller kept saying, "OMG isn't this cute! Oh I haven't seen this in years!" I kept thinking DANG every time she say cute the price is going up. Kimmerle and I were both trying to contain our excitement. After we looked at more than 20 doll outfits I said, "How much to you want?". She said, "Which ones do you want? I don't know how much to charge." I said, "We want them ALL and I need a price to know if I can afford to buy them." She paused for a bit, we waited and then she said, "fifty-five dollars." I said OK and I will buy the Barbie pool and barbecue set for fifteen. OMG Kimmerle skipped to the car singing, "We SCORED! We SCORED!" and boy oh boy did we ever SCORE!!!!!
