Some of this week's yard sale finds.....1987 Barbie Ice Cream Shoppe....missing two counters, a glass and two plates, but the dishes for ice cream, the ice cream cone dispenser, the cones, the table and chairs which transform into real size ice cream dishes are all really cool. All the pieces to the ice cream maker and directions are there. $2.00. 1988 Barbie Soda Shoppe with bar stools that transform in to real size drinking glass and they can really be filled up from the drink dispenser. Set is complete. $4.00.....the quality really changed from 1987 to 1988: hard plastic dishes to punch out softer plastic; vinyl place mats to cardboard place mats; fewer pieces; and not as cool pieces.
