Wanna Talk Dirty?

The doll on the right eyes were covered with more mold than the doll on the left. I put Tea Tree Oil in her eyes as she was laying on her back filling up the pouch that holds the eye in place. By filling up the pouch I am hoping to kill any mold behind the eye. My thought process in using Tea Tree Oil: Eyes look like they have powdery mildew like plants get. I wonder if plant fungicide would work on doll eyes. Google fungus. Yes mold is fungus. keep forgetting to go out to garden house to see if we have fungicide. One day remember that Tea Tea oil works as a fungicide. Although the hair dryer/heat method worked well it was impossible to get to the back of the eyes. I have noticed when doll eyes have this mold problem there are tiny chucks of the plastic missing in the iris. :( This era of MA and dolls made by other companies irk me because they mixed vinyl and plastic. The two dolls on the right have torsos and legs made out of that light weight cheap plastic. :( The doll on the right, McGuffey-Anne, has mold on her arms even though the arms were mostly covered by the plaid dress. It might be hard to see but her pinafore is more tea colored than white. :(
