Too Much?
I didn't pay "too much" as this was only two dollars but it might take up "too much" space as it is 31x23x50".
Toy Sunday: Theme-- Too Much
Holly, Lolly, Molly and Polly explore the tree house.
I bought the tree house at a yard sale earlier in the summer. It was packed in a box, the directions laying on top showing a picture of the finished house. I thought pieces might be missing as I didn't see the long pole. The seller told me it was a bird house, needed to be built around a tree and he, a very young man, was asking five dollars. I said, what about two dollars as it looks like pieces are missing and he said yes to that offer! The box along with the two largest floor pieces hung out in my family room most of the summer. Last week I was picking up, sorting, putting away things in the family room and decided that it was time to also get rid of the box. I began exploring the pieces inside the box. I was thrilled and so surprised to find unopened packages of wooden furniture, animals and dolls along with an unopened package of leaf bearing branches. I found two photos of this house on the web. One photo was from Etsy which said in the description that this tree house was from the seventies. If that is true it is amazing that the everything for this tree house looks brand new. No discoloring and no dust just one dead spider. Now to see if the grandchildren will have fun with it.
