Oracle of Pachacamac
Museum at the pre-Inca and Inca site of Pachacamac, south of Lima, Peru. The vast site housed a famous wooden oracle, which was burned by the Spanish during the conquest. This wooden statue, apparently a copy of the oracle, was found in excavations at the site in the 1930s; it's not clear exactly when it was made or why.
