dakjjim, braised chicken and veg 02

This is dakjjim, made this morning! The last recipe I made didn't quite turn out the way I wanted it to, so for my parents' visit tomorrow I did a test run. It was delicious! A little sweet, a little salty, very savory and just a touch spicy! I didn't use the dried chili peppers or Korean chili peppers, cutting the first altogether and using bell peppers for the latter. I didn't think cooked cucumber would taste very good, but surprisingly it's very much like cooked zucchini but with a crispness to it that I enjoyed. This is going to go into my regular rotation for sure!
