Bristol Car Owners Club (UK) - club badge (c.1960)

Bristol Aeroplane Company diversified from manufacturing aircraft to Bristol cars in 1946 to ustilise excess manpower capacity after the end of WW2. All Bristol cars were hand-built and sold as high-end luxury models. In 2011 Bristol Cars went to administration and were bought over by Kamkorp.

The Bristol Car Owners Club badge is adapted from the Bristol Car badge which depicts the municipal crest of Bristol City.
