CACTUS & SUCCULENT SOCIETY OF GREAT BRITAIN - membership badge (1960’s or earlier)

The Cactus & Succulent Society of Great Britain (CSSGB) was established in 1931 and its main principal objectives were to promote the study, conservation, propagation and cultivation of cacti and other succulent plants. The CSSGB was affiliated with the Royal Horticultural Society.

In 1983, the CSSGB was amalgamated with the National Cactus and Succulent Society (estd. 1945) to form the current British Cactus & Succulent Society.

If anyone knows a more precise date for this badge, I’d be grateful to hear from you.
