Fairyhouse Racecourse - 1998 membership pass

Subscribers of annual membership to the Fairyhouse Racecourse received a metal and enamel pass with their membership number stamped into the reverse side. For an annual subscription fee, the benefits of membership include free entry to all 20 race meetings, reserved car parking and access to the member's lounge in the Power's stand overlooking the track.

The first race meeting at Fairyhouse in County Meath was in 1848 and by the later 19th century it had established itself as one of Ireland’s premier racecourses. Since 1870, the Grand National race had been run at Fairyhouse and remains Ireland’s prestigious steeplechase event. The Irish Gold Cup is also run at the Fairyhouse racecourse.
