London transport Tea Tricycle 1936. BY517 Raleigh Box Tricycle.
London transport Tea Tricycle as used by LT to provide refreshments to bus crews in areas where there were no cafe's for them to use, I am not sure as to how many of these were operated by LT but know that one was based at Merton garage, I have only seen two photo's of one of them. This large scale model was built by myself onto a ready built trike. It is around 18" in length. I have recently found out that London transport had just the one of these and it was registered as BY517 but did not have a fleetnumber within the service vehicle fleet and was new in around 1936 but do not know how long it was used for. It is listed as a Raleigh Box Tricycle.
