Howard St-9
The builder/realtor/owner coordinated the staging of this building with local artists, stores, and his interior designers. All of the staging is local furniture, local art, not to mention that most everything you find in the remodeling is local. A top notch job on his part, this house shows off the local drive that's found throughout Portland, Maine.
Lighting info: one light CL, umbrella w/sheet, two lights CR.-the first is shoot through umbrella and maybe 5 feet to the right, the second is a wall/ceiling bounce in the hall.
In hindsight, I'd prefer to do this with a second umbrella/sheet to the right instead of the shoot through. I didn't have the gear at the time, but I can see that it would produce much nicer light. One thing it would improve is toning down the sharp shadows from the chair legs, which would be nice since the shadows don't jive with the sunlight. Still very happy with the shoot, I'm just trying to see the room for improvement.
