She Loves Her Nylons

I've been obsessed with nylons for as long as I can remember. This is quite possibly my favourite self-portrait. I think it expresses my relationship with hosiery perfectly, and it really reminds me of the gorgeous girls on the front of the Pretty Polly and Aristoc packets I used to liberate from my sister's bedroom when I was a kid.

 

I love this picture, but it seems to have gone unnoticed compared to a lot of others in my stream. I really thought this one would have struck a chord with a lot of girls like me out there. It just goes to show it's impossible to predict what people are going to like! A x
