Vaux's Swift

There was an article in the Seattle Times. Thousands of Vaux's Swifts spend the night in the chimney of a Monore WA school chimney during their migration stopover in the spring and fall. This is a later dusk shot as they circle in prior to dissappearing down the chimney. The last hour prior to dusk was a constant stream of swifts. My daughter was unimpressed. They apparently are a local summer resident, but most spend the summer north of WA State.
