Great Northern Railway No. 90 was built by the American Car & Foundry in 1913 as a Railway Post Office car. The car was in postal service up to 1926. In 1943, the car was rebuilt into a steam generator heater car and renumbered to No. 6. The car was sold to Western Pacific Railroad in 1968, and renumbered to WP No. 593. The car went from WP to Oregon Pacific & Eastern and later and went out of revenue service. The car came to Mid-Continent Railway Museum in 1992. The car is used to heat trains during winter runs.
