Indiana, Indianapolis, Sanitary Diner (7,248)

The diner was built in New Jersey in 1937 by the Jerry O'Mahony Diner Company. The structure was shipped to Cleveland, Ohio and was used into the late 1950s. Later, the diner was restored, and in 2010 was moved to Indianapolis. The photograph was taken in October 2011. At that time, it appeared that the Sanitary Diner was not open.

The Jerry O'Mahony Diner Company also built Mickey's Diner of St. Paul, Minnesota.. To view a photograph of the St. Paul diner go to www.flickr.com/photos/23711298@N07/2635367672/
