The Spanish Colonial Revival style Ritz Theater- highlighted with stucco finish; round-arched second story windows with ornate carvings; a central stepped parapet curvilinear gable- was opened circa 1935. The Ritz Theater closed sometime in the mid-1950’s. The building underwent preservation and renovation in 2009 to include the addition of a conference center and banquet hall. The building is used for weddings and special events. The building is located in the West Point Central City Historic District listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a contributing property.
