Virginia, Fluvanna County- Cohasset, Dixie Cannery

The building housed the Dixie Cannery, a tomato cannery with long tables where tomato peelers worked. In the building there were vats for the cooking, rows of cans, and a capping machine. The cannery operated seasonally from the 1920s through the end of World War II.
