Minnesota, Lake County, U. S. Forest Service, Superior National Forest, South Kawishiwi River Campground Pavilion
The Rustic style South Kawishiwi River Campground Pavilion on the Superior National Forest was constructed in 1933 by Civilian Conservation Corps workers from nearby Company 1720 from Camp No. 704 (also known as the Halfway Camp). When the photograph was taken in 2021, on the right side of the building there was damage to the sill log. This damage was caused, apparently, when a access ramp was removed.
