North Dakota, Fargo, Fargo Theatre
The Fargo Theatre was built in 1926. Liebenberg and Kaplan were the architects. An interesting and creative architecture feature of the facade are stone faces protruding from the wall between the arches above the windows. The stone faces, with grotesque expression, have their mouths open. Originally, rods extended from each face to support a square marquee. Only two rods are used to support the existing diagonal marquee. The Fargo Theatre is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
