Kentucky, Frankfort, Grand Theater (8,052)

The Grand Theater was built in 1911 as vaudeville house. A 1940 renovation included adding a Moderne style facade. The Grand closed in 1966 and later was used for office space and auctions. In 2005, a local group started renovation efforts. The Grand host the performing arts and art-films (independent, foreign film etc.)
