In the excursion train lead by Steam locomotive Southern Pacific No. 4449, the support car Gordon K. Zimmerman trails the Amtrak locomotive, followed by diner / sleeper car "Goombay Sunrise." The "Goombay Sunrise" was built by Pullman Standard in 1950 for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad and carried the the name "Blue Ridge Club" The car eventually went to private owners.
