Union Pacific Railroad, Wyoming, Laramie

The Union Pacific Railroad depot was built in 1924 to replace one that was destroyed by fire in 1917. The depot served Union Pacific passenger trains until 1971 and as an Amtrak depot until 1983. In 2015, the building housed a small museum and was used as a community meeting place and special events center. The Depot is located in the Laramie Commercial Historic District listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a contributing property.
