Union Pacific Railroad (Pacific & Idaho Northern Railroad), Idaho, New Meadows

The Italianate style depot in New Meadows was built in 1910 by the Pacific & Idaho Northern Railroad. In 1936, The Union Pacific Railroad acquired the line and the depot. The depot was in service until 1972. In 1979, Union Pacific abandoned the line. The photograph show the track side of the depot. The depot is on the National Register of Historic Places. (The photograph was taken in 1987.)
