[Coaches in Beijing]中通博发 Zhongtong Bova LCK6128EV "Magiq" <BEV> 展车 Demo Coach Rear-right at Beijing Olympic Green

LCK6128EV is a star model of coach in China, due to both its compelling, eye-catching exterior design and its fascinating propulsion---battery-electric.

Based on a Bova Magiq body, introduced by Zhongtong Buses and Coaches in Liaocheng, Shandong, LCK6128EV is an aggregation of advanced battery-electric vehicle technologies in China. Electricity is stored in a Li-ion battery pack made by Citic Guoan MGL Battery Application Technologies, while propulsion comes from an asynchronous induction motor, with a rated power of 100kW(134hp) and a max power of 150kW(201hp). The motor and the controller are both from CSR Times Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd., a leading manufacturer of electric-vehicles nationwide. When fully charged, the coach's travelling range reaches 250km(155miles) with absolute zero-emission.

Currently, LCK6128EV has merely 3 units in Beijing. During the Olympics, these 3 coaches serves as stuff shuttles and mobile meeting room.

The interior is as luxury as that of a business jet-plane. Beneath two rows of jet-plane-style overhead luggage compartment are high-back real-leather seats with waist and neck support and full adjustment. In the front of the coach the seats are in 2+2 arrangement, while behind the mid-door, there locates two sets of face-to-face seats, seperated by two desks, reserved for on board meetings.

LCK6128EV wins Green Coach of the Year in B.A.A.V. 2008 in Asian Coach Week. Thanks to its perfect combination of style and technology, LCK6128EV receives approbation wherever it appears.
