Aveling & Porter Steam Road Roller No.11145 "Ayesha"
1925-built Aveling & Porter D-Class steam road roller 11145 "Ayesha", an 8-tonner registered TN 216, hauling a living/works van down the town street at Beamish Museum.
Despite appearances to the contrary the living van is almost brand new, having been carefully created in the appropriate style by "Ayesha"s owners.
The engine and living van both carry the name of the engine's original owners, CS Bunch Contractors.
The engine was at Beamish as part of the Steam Event of April 2022.
