South Shore Line bilevels pass the Metra Electric 95th Street / Chicago State University station, as the Chicago Fire Department responds to a derailment. The freight was moving from the ex-IC up the sharp, steep connector to the Belt Railway of Chicago, when five cars derailed and tipped over. Luckily, as far as I know, nothing was spilled or leaked, and no one was hurt. I was on my way to Riverdale, when out of the train window, I saw the cars tipped over and decided to get off early to see what happened.
